Heather Miller Music

I'm still figuring it out, but one thing I know for certain is I love music and I'm so grateful for all the gifts it has brought to my life. In May 2011, I took a huge leap of faith and moved from Iowa down to Austin for a year, to study at Rubicon Artist Development and make my first EP. This post and the video below are a good little introduction to that story:

    About Me

    Ask me anything
This is the face of someone who has done 108 performances since June! And who has owl-y earrings. :-)

Tonight was Flipnotics. There was a saxophone. There was a cello. There was a teeny keyboard. A boot stomping solo & body/ukulele drumming. And a bunch of damn good songs. Reconnected with some folks I met somewhere around in the 80th performances & they said they could see I’d gotten better. I guess you’d hope that 20 or so more times at something there would be improvement, so it’s good to hear it shows! :)

Songs: Sister’s Prayer, (I just realized I don’t have a title for the new one yet… Hrm. It might be “Split in Two”)
